BUYER'S HOME INSPECTION
During the inspection, we will examine hundreds of features in the home including the foundation, roof, attic, ventilation, framing, electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling systems, exterior siding, trim and brick, driveways, decks, patios, sidewalks, site drainage, and more. The information we can provide to you is a must when you are making such an important decision.
ONE YEAR WARRANTY INSPECTION
Did your builder put the proper amount of insulation in the attic? Is there flashing missing around your chimney? Are all of your outlets wired properly? Do you have adequate ventilation in your new home? These are just some of the questions we will answer when we inspect your new house just before your one year warranty with your builder is about to expire. We will provide you with a professional report that you can submit to your builder outlining all of the major and minor deficiencies of your new home that must be corrected under the builder's warranty.
WELL AND SEPTIC SYSTEM EVALUATION
Utilizing an EPA licensed laboratory, water samples can be analyzed to detect the presence of bacteria, nitrates, nitrites, lead, arsenic, sodium, and more. We also perform a complete evaluation on septic fields that complies with local health department regulations including soil borings, tank inspection and dye testing.
RADON TESTING
Using a continuous read electronic monitor, we can measure levels of radon in the house every hour for 48 hours. Results are available within an hour of the end of the test. Our monitor is equipped with tamper detectors that alert us if the monitor was moved or tampered with during the test so you can be certain our results are accurate.
NEW CONSTRUCTION PHASE INSPECTIONS
Whether you are the general contractor or you have hired one to build your new home, let us make sure everything is done correctly. We will inspect sub-contractors' work at regular intervals to ensure that your house is built correctly.
SELLER'S HOME INSPECTION
You can have the edge on selling your home if you have us inspect it prior to listing it for sale. This allows you to be aware of any problems in your home that you may chose to correct before putting your home up for sale. This will save time during the selling process.
